Julius Kahn Lacey (b. 1904, Elizabethton, Tenn.-d. July 5, 1992), U.S. Air Force officer, received his commission and graduated from Advanced Flying School in 1930. He later earned a master's degree in meteorology at MIT and planned the new Weather Service for the Air Corps. He was sent to Europe in 1942 to analyze meteorological issues as they affected the Royal Air Force and U.S. bomber command.
